Weather in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote

Lanzarote benefits from a climate of 'eternal spring' and is therefore ideal for all year round holidays. In winter the temperature averages between 14c-21c and 18c-28c in the summer with the water temperature between 18c-23c over a whole year.

Lanzarote is only 100kms from the Sahara Desert all year round and both the north east and south east trade winds, reduce the intense heat from the sun.

There is very little rainfall (less than 140mm per year) which is concentrated mainly in April and November. The hottest period is July to October, and the most pleasant between February and July. The sky is seldom free of some cloud, however, this does not prevent the temperature from falling and sunburn occurring, so always use a good quality sunscreen.
